We Are Melissa & Donny

As personal trainers and nutrition coaches, we understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with aging, particularly for those of us over 40. Our role goes far beyond simply instructing clients on fitness routines and nutrition plans. We firmly believe in leading by example, which is why we consistently practice what we preach.

This Is Our Story

Melissa and I have been married for seven years, are blessed with two beautiful grandsons, and have three rescue-pups. We both have a passion for helping people reach their health and fitness goals.

 

Our fitness journey together began in 2015. We had been working out together for a while, when Melissa decided she wanted to step out of her comfort zone, and do something challenging for her 40th birthday!

Well, I talked her into letting me train her for and ultimately competing in her first bodybuilding competition! The rest is history!

Just as we do as a couple, and now as your coaches, we will try and give you the support and accountability needed to help you work towards your goals and keep you on track in the process.​

We Walk The Walk

With Melissa at 49 and myself at 51 years old, we consistently weight train 4-5 times a week, adhere to a moderate to high protein diet and maintain a lifestyle that supports our health and fitness goals.

 

By practicing what we preach, we strive to lead by example, demonstrating that age is no barrier to achieving and maintaining a high level of fitness.

This commitment not only keeps us physically fit but also allows us to experience firsthand the benefits and challenges our clients face, providing us with deeper insights to tailor their programs effectively.

 

We understand firsthand the effort it takes to stay consistent, the importance of setting realistic goals, and the need for perseverance when progress seems slow. 

 

This firsthand experience allows us to empathize with our clients, offering you not just theoretical advice but practical, tested solutions that we know work.

 

Ultimately, we believe that the most effective trainers are those who walk the walk, not just talk the talk. 

By embodying the fitness principles we teach, we can inspire our clients to strive for their best, showing them that the goals they set are not just attainable but sustainable with the right guidance and effort.
